In late 2023, Cognizant became the new title sponsor for the Cognizant Classic (previously The Honda Classic), a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in south Florida.
I was was tapped into this project after the first conceptual logo design round. In 2 days, I sketched fresh ideas that were presented to the Cognizant CEO and PGA Tour brand team. A week following, a design was selected and produced on signage, digital displays, maps, brochures, merch and more.

During Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month, and every day, Cognizant stands with the Asian community. Their efforts to cultivate an inclusive work environment contributes to, and enhances, their collective success.

I’m a Captain who brings people together to play women’s or co-ed basketball in the Puget Sound Basketball League. I've had a passion for basketball, Nike sneakers and the Jordan brand since I was young (when we still had the Seattle Supersonics). Sometimes I sketch designs for Nike dunks / Air Jordan 1’s … I am a big fan of animal prints.

Dormans became Kenya’s first coffee roaster in 1950 and they wanted to evolve their identity. They had already started the design process and felt they needed an outside perspective. I worked with their team as the lead designer to deliver a new logo and signage to modernize their look and feel.

Here are a few favorite brand projects that Cognizant took 6 Hermes Creative Awards for in 2022 (4 Platinums, 2 Golds). One of those platinum awards was for the Cognizant rebrand, which has an edgy, modern, sharp, clean and colorful style that I had the opportunity to be part of.
I joined the company in the middle of the rebrand as a Sr Art Director and worked on multiple brand collateral pieces such as letterheads, email, web and social templates. I also designed global event packages that included signage and booth graphics.

To build excitement and appeal to early-stage career professionals, the Boeing Store wanted a new line of merchandise featuring the innovative products and technologies built by Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T). As a team, we decided to focus on connecting for these three future innovations: Blended Wing Body (BWB), Hypersonic (HYP), and Truss Braced Wing (TBW).

Our design team at CallisonRTKL was asked to develop a new sub-menu brand and environment called Create Your Taste (CYT) for McDonald’s custom-burger menu concept. CYT provides people a modern restaurant experience allowing customers to build their own burgers with more than 30 premium ingredients using innovative technology.

Those who don’t know—of whom there are many—would never guess the breadth of projects and successes that Boeing Research & Technology contributes to. To heighten awareness of those contributions, an identity expression focusing on the “Power of &”—the unbeatable combination of research and technology working hand in hand—was created.

Before Safeco Field became T-Mobile Park, ‘The Pen’ was designed as part of the renovation and expansion of the outfield retail space. My firm M3 was part of the full remodel and helped to determine how to open up the space, create good flow, placement of stations, and food, bar, and store concepts.

On July 23, 2019, Egypt Air took delivery of its fifth 787 Dreamliner. The new super-efficient jet was filled with biofuel for the 5,925 nautical mile flight from Seattle to Cairo—the longest 787 delivery flight using sustainable fuel. For this milestone, I had one workday to create a 10-second GIF with fun, simple, quick-read graphics animation for the Boeing Middle East team to share on Twitter.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Nordstrom for six years on new retail brands, food and bar concepts in multiple locations including Seattle HQ and California. Projects include logo design, brand guidelines manuals, store signage, window displays, environmental interior and exterior design. Below are a few favorites.
Role: Lead Graphic Designer
This was a fun collaboration project I worked with a Callison designer and our marketing team. We were tasked to create a promotional graphics package which included an infographic, posters, backdrop banners, project playing cards, and a Seattle informational map to help Callison promote internship and career opportunities of its University Outreach program to potential candidates.
The Callison University Outreach Campaign was a winner and received the 2014 American Graphic Design Award by GD USA.
