Join me and the Seattle Kraken on Lunar New Year Night, presented by Alaska Airlines on January 28, 2025. Learn more about Kraken Common Thread.
My AAPI concept, “We are human,” was selected by nonprofit, Urban ArtWorks, and the panel of Seattle Storm’s #Force4Change social justice platform. It was installed for the opening May 6th Storm game, along with other works by BIPOC, female artists for Sue Bird’s last basketball season. The art was shared via social media by the Storm, printed and wrapped around the Uptown Arts District to brighten up intersections around Seattle Center near Climate Pledge Arena.
Thank you Urban Artworks, Uptown Alliance and Seattle Storm for this amazing opportunity! Be sure to checkout Urban ArtWorks. They do wonderful things for the Seattle community and for the youth through art!
2022 GDUSA Awards and Hermes Creative Gold Award recipient
I hand illustrated familiar Asian food and drinks with “Stop Asian Hate” messaging and had stickers printed to raise funds for the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) and The Very Asian Foundation (TVAF). In less than one week, I raised a total of $1,400 for the two organizations.
Shoutout to @michellelitv for speaking up and creating this movement with @giavang to create awareness and help protect our AAPI community. Thank you to JR at ABC Imaging, Seattle who printed and donated these stickers so that I could make this fundraiser possible. Stickers are still available for purchase via my Etsy shop, @ConceptShell.
